Eligibility:  Supply chain management is concerned with the genesis, design, manufacture, distribution, retail and sale of any particular product in the market. In other words, supply chain management is concerned with everything that happens with a particular product right from cradle to grave.

Job Prospects: The job outlook of supply chain managers looks healthy. A degree in supply chain management is desirable for entry level candidates. Also, knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software package such as SAP(TM) or Oracle(TM) is also required and preferred.

Expected Job Growth: Supply chain mangers were paid starting salary of $45,800 annually in the year 2007. As experience and knowledge goes up in the field, salary may reach the level of $89,300 annually. At the executive levels, salaries are much higher.
